Service Title: The Power of The Word
Pastor Earnest Teaching:
John 10:10(KJV, AMP)
Why did Jesus come?
Who are the they in this verse?
Have you received Jesus?
Ans: he came that we may have life and have it to the full
Why did Jesus come?
Ans: He came to give the world the God-Kind of Life
This is the life that overflows with joy and abundance
He came to give us the Transcendent Life
The life that any man will have and the God Life is transplanted and super imposed
This life makes you reign and to live as king in this life
Jesus came that we may have this kind of life and have it abundantly- the fulness of life, an over flowing life
If you have that kind of life, then you have the joy of God reigning in your life
It is a life that is not dependent on the circumstances and situations
It is not dependent on your environment
It is the heavenly life
It is the God Life
It is actually the God Kind of Life
It is the same life that God has
Which means Jesus came to give us the God Life
So, anyone that receives Jesus, the Bible says the life with which you came from your mother’s womb is no longer relevant
That is why it is called Born Again
That is why Jesus said, you must be Born Again
The first life that you had is the one that came from Adam that your parents gave to you
But this AGAIN Life is the Life of God
The one that God gives to you
This is the Life His Word gives to you
And the scripture calls it the Incorruptible Life
The word says we are born again by the word of God
Which means when you get the word of God into your spirit, it is incorruptible
You become unblameable
You reign in life
And that is the life that Jesus came to give to us
Glory to God!
Say: ‘I have that life’
Wave your hands from side to side and say: “I have that Life”
Hallelujah
Let’s take our proclamations today
Proclamation:
The word of God is working in me
And building me up daily
In every area of my life
I am making progress because, THE WORD IS MY SOURCE AND MY FOUNDATION
Say the word of God is my source and my foundation
I live in divine health and safety
I am effective
I am excellent
I am prospering in all things
Because I live in the word and I live by the word
Hallelujah!
My spirit is sensitive to God’s voice
And I am able to discern His voice and counsel to me always
Because I am His sheep
The ways of the Spirit have been manifested unto me
And I am guided from within and through the word, to know and walk in the path of supernatural abundance in Jesus Name
Hallelujah!!
Let’s look at:
Jeremiah 33:3
Here God is letting us know that He is ready to answer when anyone calls
He says call on Me and I will Answer you and show you great and mighty things which you don’t know of
And today God is ready to show us great and mighty things which we are not aware of
Or which our minds have not yet been able to grasp
He is not just talking about the things you have not yet seen or heard or touched
You may see, touch, hear and even play with certain things and yet don’t know what they really are
But God says I will show you what they are
Someone could give you a bunch of keys and you have a door to open
The key to open the door is among the bunch of keys you have been given
But you may not know the particular one that will open the door
And you are trying all the keys
Until someone who knows comes out to point to the Exact key
God is saying call on e and I will show you the Exact key that will open any door that you will want to open
If this is true, it means:
You as a child of God, never be disadvantaged
God is saying call on me and I will show you hidden things
There are fenced out things
Men may have places that they have fenced out from others
And so, when they look at you, they size you up
And they say that you are not qualified to be in this class
And that is what is making a lot people mad around the world
They complain about such things as racism, tribalism and the likes
But be cool
Relax
God is saying when you come to Him, you live in Him, there is a class of God that He brings you to
Why should you be desiring to be in the class of men?
They may fence you out
But you see, the only reason they are trying to fence you out is because they don’t really know who you are
When they get to know you are, they will desire for your presence
They will desire for your fellowship
So, don’t get angry
Understand that God has brought you to His class
Men may look you up and size you up and think you don’t qualify for a class
But if God be for us, who can be against us
God has revealed Himself to us
He has brought us up to His
So, what does he want us to do?
Ans: He wants us to start reasoning, talking and acting at His class
They may size you up by the way you dress but don’t size yourself up
Size yourself up with the word of God
He says to call on Him
He was talking to Jeremiah at that time
But today He is expecting us to not just call on Him to show us
We still pray, it is good to pray
Prayer is not just about calling on God to show us things
Glory be to God!
Joel 2:28
God was talking to this prophet seeing the things that will happen in the future
Note: The young men shall see visions
We are now in those days
Because in the book of Acts the scriptures say that the Spirit has been poured upon all men
Which means every one that has received that spirit can now start seeing visions
“Visions are things that hidden from ordinary men”
Are you born again?
Are you filled with the Spirit?
Do you see visions?
Say these:
‘I see visions
I am able to see by the power of the Holy Spirit’
So, when people say no to you, you are able to see beyond what they are saying
So, when you listen to the stories of people, you are able to see beyond what they are saying
Why?
Ans: because there is an eye of God that has been given to you to see beyond what ordinary eyes can see
- When there is no vision you waste future treasure on momentary pleasure
There are a lot of people that have been communicated great treasure
It could be in ideas
But because they are not able to see where that idea is leading them to, the resources that they have to prosecute that idea and bring it into reality, they waste such on momentary pleasure
Why because they really understand where they are supposed to land
They don’t really understand or see the future
But God says we are not like that
That is why Jesus Christ says you don’t give great treasures to the swine
They will trample on it
But we look at the scriptures and we find the great things that the Holy Spirit has communicated and given to us
The great life that He has given us
And we are able to hold them
We are able to use the word of God to look at our future
We are able to condition our lives today because we know where we are going to
We know where God is leading us to
In the past months lots of people died from fear than from the virus
And thank God that he gave us His word to condition and to help us know that this is not the will of God
And that we have the ability to control it
John 14:26-27
The Holy Spirit teaches you all things
He teaches you all things that you need to know and also brings all things to your remembrance
Whatsoever things that you have been taught
He teaches you and grants you the ability to know
And whenever you need to use what He has taught you, He brings it to your remembrance
Never confess that you have forgotten
Once you have the Holy Spirit, He will teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance
He is your teacher
Say these
“I have peace
Peace in my spirit
Peace in my soul
Peace in my home”
Let not your heart be troubled neither let it be afraid
Be in charge of your heart
Let not your heart be afraid irrespective of what is happening
Let yourself not be afraid
Why will God tell you not to let yourself be afraid?
Ans: He is letting you know that your life is in your hands
So, refuse to be afraid irrespective of what you hear
John 16:4-16
- Without vison, you get discouraged by momentary afflictions which are supposed to be working for your advantage
2 Corinthians 4:16-17
- Light afflictions are momentary afflictions that work for our good
Your momentary afflictions work together for your good
Light afflictions are answers to your prayers
There is always a greater life for you
All things work together for your good
How can you be disadvantaged when you are born of God, you are raised by Him, you are influenced by Him and His Spirit dwells in the inside you?
- The Prince of this world, satan has been judged
Say these:
“The Holy Spirit guides me into all truth
I can never be deceived because the Holy Spirit guides me into all truth, all reality”
The Holy Spirit is here to guide you into all that Christ is
The Spirit shows you truth and reality concerning you and all that concerns you
He shows you the purpose of your being and helps you fulfill that purpose and get the satisfaction that God wants you to have
He will show you things to come
Say this: ‘He shows me things to come’
You may have afflictions all around you
But He will let you know where those afflictions are leading you
He lets you understand that they are not for your destruction, but for your upliftment and for your glory
He knows the plans He has for you
And He will take you to God’s divine expected end for you
Does the Spirit talk to you?
God said to Jeremiah, ‘call unto me and I will show you things to come’
But the Spirit of God has come and is tabernacled in our bodies and He is no longer saying to us to call unto Him
By Himself He just understands where He is taking us to and He is talking to us every time.
Say this: ‘God talks to me
And you will see the results!
The most beautiful thing of all is that God talks to us, we hear, we do and we get the results
Glory be to God!
“the greatest joy is to know that the Holy Spirit instructs us from within and we hear and carry out what He tells us to do and we get the results”
The only time it looks as though God is far away is because you are not listening to Him
- God talks more than any FM Station
As long as you are born again, He talks to you
Even to those who are not born again, He says that His Spirit has been poured on all flesh
What is the Spirit doing on ALL FLESH?
He said all flesh
All flesh means all flesh
Not only on Christians
On All flesh
Is He just following those who are not born again like a mute?
No!
Certainly, He is talking to them
But they are not hearing
A lot of them are not hearing
But thank God that we hear Him
· The Holy Spirit convict sinners of their sins
Why because, sin is a way of life to an ordinary person
So, by the time you are telling them this or that is sinful, they wont even understand what you are talking about
But until the Holy Spirit comes, it is a waste to tell someone this or that that is a sin
But that is what the Holy Spirit does to the one that is not born again
He convicts them of sin.
· He also convicts Christians (those who are born again) of their righteousness
So, you may do something wrong, but He lets you know that what you have done does not define who you are
You are righteous because God has given you righteousness
He has gifted you with righteousness
Righteousness is your nature
There are some who say they don’t hear from God because of the things they have done wrong.
But did any one qualify for His presence?
The Bible says while we were yet sinners Christ died for sinners.
He died for the ungodly
Now that you are born again, He talks to you
He tells you of your inheritance that Christ Resurrected to give to you
He makes you understand that you can never go down
- It doesn’t matter the circumstances once the Holy Spirit is with us, we can never go down
Just like Jesus lifted up Peter from the water so that he does not go down, we can never go down because the Holy Spirit is with us
Say:
‘I can never go down’
- It is too late to think of failure
Why because God has come to tabernacle in you
You are the residence of God, the Head Quarters of God
Hallelujah!
Isaiah 55:10-11(NKJV)
Note these:
· Rain
· Earth
· Vegetation
· Seed to the sower
· Bread to the eater
With all the above, what exactly is the core element of what God is saying here?
Ans: the rain
God is telling us here that His word is the water
There are other scriptures where God lets us know that His word is seed but at this particular place, He is letting us know that His word is Water
His word is likened to water
Say these:
“the word is working for me
The word is working through me”
Hallelujah!
The words that He speaks to us are spirit and Life
But He also said he is the way, the truth and the Life
His word is the Spirit and the Life
He is letting us know the Oneness of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost
He is letting us know here that the water is the Word and also Spirit of God
There is a purpose of the rain coming down
No matter how dry the ground is when the rain comes down, vegetation will puff up
No matter how dry your life is
Once the Spirit of God and the Word of God comes in, you will start budding
Life comes
Glory be to God!
So, the Spirit is here to give Life
He gives life to everything about you
So, now you have received the Spirit and He is accomplishing a purpose beyond your life
For as he is so are you in this world
The word of God causes everything around us to start budding
John 4:10-11
John 7:37
Out of your belly flows rivers of living water
No longer out of heaven
That living water is dwelling inside of you and flowing from inside of you
Men will come and drink from you and continue to drink from you
When you have a vision and understand where you are and the place He has brought you to, there is nothing that can discourage you
This is what I am living for
This is my life
The Life that overflows is in your spirit
When there is a casting down, you will still be lifted up why because of the river that flows out of your belly
Count it all joy when you go through diverse tests
Why?
Ans: because we know no matter how boisterous the storm may be or the sea may be, you will never drown.
We do not go down
Because Greater is He that is us me than he that is in the world
You are born to reign
You are born to rule over the circumstances of life
Have this consciousness
Say this: ‘thank you Lord Jesus’
Ezekiel 47:1-12
The water was flowing from the Temple
And who is this Temple?
Ans: you are the Temple
You are the Temple of the Living God
God dwells in you
Sometimes the revelation that you may receive may be a babyish (“nepeos”) revelation
But don’t stop
It is a starting point
Let the water drown you
Swim in the water
The word of God that He has given us is something that you must saturate yourself in
Saturate yourself in the Word
Let the word of God take a hold of your life
Water that you must swim in
Water that you cannot go out of
You have become an inhabitant of the water
The water has become your home
First of all, when you enter into the sea of men, what happens to the men in the sea?
Ans:
Their lives are healed
You are not needing the healing
You are the one giving the healing
So, God wants you to flow to everyone that is on your side is receiving life and nourishment
They ate receiving life to bud and bring up fruits
As you flow into the sea of men, they are healed
Today, you are the one stirring the waters
You don’t just stir the waters, you flow
When people are in need understand that the solution is with you.
Pastor teaches us that: Problems gravitate towards their solution
So, when people to come to you with their problems understand that God has lifted you as the SOLUTION.
Not only does the water come to the earth, it causes the vegetation to flourish
That is why the Psalmist said we are like those who are planted by the water
We bear fruits in every season
And our leaves do not wither
We blossom in every season
Because you understand that you are planted by the waters
And not only are you planted by the waters, this water is also planted in the inside of you
And so, you are bringing healing, upliftment and encouragement to your world
That is who you are
If it doesn’t seem like that, maybe you are just at the bank washing your feet
It is been a great year
And what does God expect you to do?
1. Learn to meditate again and again on God’s word. Don’t just let it be a teaching, let it be a lifestyle. Practice it
- Take out the time to Fellowship with the Word and with the Holy Spirit
- Saturate yourself with the word of God
2. Learn to speak in tongues like never before. As you study God’s Word, more vocabularies of the Spirit are given to you.
- As you study the Word and you meditate on the word, more vocabularies are given to you
- Don’t remain at that level
Make up your mind to meditate on God’s Word
Let it be a decision
Your resolution
Every morning remind yourself that you are going to do it
Thank God for the Rhapsody that our man of God has given to us in every format
Say this:
‘the Lord is my Helper
He is my Strength’
Every morning when you wake up tell yourself He is my strength
Not because you are feeling strong, but because He IS.
“Your body might be feeling weak, but know that he is your strength
And don’t wait for your body to be feeling weak before you say this.”
He is my sufficiency
He supplies me with everything that I need
The world is mine and the fulness thereof
Everything that belongs to God belongs to me
I will never live in lack
I will never live in want
He is my sufficiency
He is my Shepherd
He leads me beside the still waters
He makes me lie down in green pastures
All around me is green
No dryness in my life
Hallelujah
This is taking God’s word and you are drinking it, you are living by it
Don’t let your testimony always be about satan
Say this:
‘that is not my life
I live in the realm of glory’
Hallelujah!
3. Learn to voice and act your faith
You must voice and act your faith
Sometimes until you stand in line with God’s word concerning you, you are where God wants you to be by His Word, you will never enjoy the things that He has for you
- It is our Year of Alignment
God gives you His Word to help you align with His word
Sometimes until you put your life on the line for God’s Word, you know in business they say it is all about taking risks
The bigger the risk, the bigger the profit.
It is the same thing with God
Sometimes you must learn to put your life on the line for God’s word when it is demanded and desired of the Spirit
Just like Esther, David Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego did
Choose not bow.
And you are incorruptible, imperishable
The God that dwells in the inside of you is the God of life
The Bible says He calls those things that be not as though they were
He is the God that quickens the dead
That was abraham’s belive
God is your life
He is your light
He is your everything
And you are a success
Lift up your hands towards heaven and bless His Holy Name
Declare that you do not consider anything except the word of God
It doesn’t matter what your body is telling you
Talk to your body, tell it Greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world
We do not escape
We don’t throw in the towel
After the victory God wants you to walk away
Gain the victory before you walk away
Everything is supposed to bow to you
There is a river that flows in the inside of you
It is a river of nourishments
It is a river of life
Let that river flow
Continue to let it flow
In your family you bring goodness you bring life you bring recreation
Tell everything in your life that needs a change that there is a river in the inside of you and that thing will bow to you
