Building Intangible Assets part 1

Hallelujah!
You are welcome to church and I believe you’ve been having a beautiful day
It’s our month of what?
so, did you meditate one the scriptures today?
Let somebody share with us what scriptures he meditated on today
- Romans 1:16
We are not ashamed of the gospel of Christ for the gospel is the power of Gd unto salvation for everyone that believes
You know, it is not as though Paul had any reason to be ashamed
The confession was not about the shame, the confession was about the power of God at work in every one
so you know that that power is at work in you, thus, God’s own power, the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes, whether you are a Jew or greek, the gospel is the power of God.
Isn’t that wonderful!
The gospel is the power of God and that’s the gospel that has been committed to us
Isn’t that wonderful
Isn’t that wonderful?
Do you have the power of God
Is there any power that can overcome the power of God?
Do you think there is any power that can overcome the power of God?
There is none!
Glory to God
The gospel is the power of God unto salvation
So, anyone who believes in the gospel or believes in God, anyone at all
It doesn’t matter how far the person has gone
And that makes it beautiful
So we can confidently and boldly give somebody the gospel and know that we have given that person life and that we’ve transferred the power of God into that person and it will make a change in that person’s life
- walking in the fulness of the blessing of the gospel
When the gospel comes into a man’s spirit, since the word of God is God, it comes with all the fulness of the blessings of God
So you can ride in life, and tell yourself you are full of the blessings of God
Say this, with me:
I’m full of God’s blessings
- 1 John 5:11
I am now the life of God manifested in the flesh
He who has the Sn has the life of God and as long as you have the Son you have that life. Pastor says that †his month as you meditate on God’s word, you are going to experience extraordinary success
Why because the word of God is the life of God
The word of God is the power of God
The word of God is the carries the blessings of God
the word of God is the life of God
Sometimes people meditate on what they are going through
You see what you meditate on takes a hold of you and drives you in the direction of that meditation.
God expects us to take our minds off the things that are happening around us and focus on His word
God is your life
The word of God has become your life
If God can only helps you when things are good, then He is not God
Sometimes you cry to people for help and you think that the people that you are crying out to are your only salvation not knowing that even the people that you are crying out to are facing three-times of your challenge
Become the prophet of your life
When it looks as though things have gone bad, remember that there is a prophet in your mouth. This book of the law should not depart out of your mouth
Scripture reference: Joshua 1:8
You declare God’s word and get it to pass in your life
So it doesn't matter what is happening; say I am on top
We are talking about how to grow our finances:
God has blessed with all blessings in heavenly places
God doesn’t want these blessings to just remain in the Spirit realm
The scripture says and the word became flesh
so, the blessing must become food, the blessing must become clothing
For the blessings to help your hunger the blessings must become food
The word of God can change anything
Just like the word of God became flesh, the word of God can become anything
So your responsibility is to fill yourself with the word of God first
And with your mouth, you are using the word to change your world
Your mouth is your forex bureau
You use it to declare Gods word to translate into wha you require for your everyday living
You must be able to move from one level of success to another
Maintain a glorious life
Everyone s blessed of God
There is no single one that God has not blessed
God has blessed everyone so long as you are born
In one of the rhapsodies, it says once you are born, angels are assigned to you and as you grow and have more responsibilities in life more angels are assigned to you.
If you believe that God has given you all things that require for life and godliness what are you doing with
Assign to your angels responsibilities
Find out what God has given to you and put your angels to work
Make them busy.
2 Peter 1:1- 8 (NJKV)
God has given to all of us, the same faith
So how can peace be multiplied unto you when you are saying there is no peace in this house?
Who is responsible for the peace?
You!
You are the one to make the peace
Grace and truth are multiplied unto me
So you can actually enjoy multiplied grace
Its different kind of grace for everyday
So, no matter what’s happening around you, there’s the peace of God, peace that surpasses all understanding can garrison your heart
Who is the one to bring this peace?
If I can bring peace to a house that is not my own, how about my own peace and house
I am called to a life of glory and a life of excellence
Have you answered that call?
Live a glorious life.
That is God’s call
God does not always want us to call him to give us something
See life as a king
Be on top all the time
So when you are looking at life, look at life as one who has absolute dominion over anything
God is not saying that things will not come against you and that you will not have adversaries
God is not saying challenges will not come
No that’s not what He is saying
He said in all these things, we are more than conquerors
The scriptures say many are the afflictions of the righteous but He delivers them from them all
The God that delivers them dwells in the inside of them
So, when you go through the afflictions, you say ‘i am delivered. Even before the afflictions I have been delivered’
He causes us to triumph daily through the knowledge of Him
Having an understanding, a good understanding, a perfect understanding
Thank God the Spirit of God is there to grant us that understanding of the word of God daily
Sadly there are some Christians who think they cannot understand the Bible
They say that when they read the Bible they cannot understand it
How can God write to you when He knows that you will not understand what He’s written.
No, He won’t do that!
I think its because we have been saying for a very long time that it takes only few people to understand God’s word
Its not the God made it like that, not especially when He has given us the Holy Spirit
When you know the person of the Holy Spirit and you allow Him to do in you the work that God has asked you to do, he will grant you understanding of the scriptures.
Say this:
I understand the scriptures
My mind is opened to receive the scriptures
My mind can understand the scriptures
I understand the scriptures because the Holy Spirit dwells in the inside of me
He talks to my spirit and my spirit is able to receive from Him
My mind is open to the scriptures
By the scriptures, I have escaped the corruption that is in this world
Did you know that inflation is corruption?
It is the corruption of the value of the currency
So you can take up this scripture and say ‘inflation has nothing to do with me, inflation can never catch up with me because I have escaped the corruption that is in the world’
Everyone of us can live above inflation by the Power of God
God can actually teach you and that’s what He is doing to us now
On where to put our finances, how to work with our finances, where to see opportunities and how to invest in those opportunities
So that even when the rest of the world is drying, you are steadily receiving something
God does not want us dry
So, as we are studying this, don’t just hear, train yourself to do
As you are listening the Spirit of God will be talking to you
Yours is to listen to Him and function with Him
Direct your energy in the direction that He wants you to go
Two of you can be in the same place and the Holy Spirit can be showing each of you different things completely
You can be looking at the same thing and yet be seeing different things completely
That’s the kind of person that He is
So your responsibility is to yield to Him and listen to the Voice that is in the inside
The earth is full of the goodness of God
Take the scriptures up and be using it to build yourself
Verse 8 : these things are actually yours: He is saying if you diligently build these things in you
2 Corinthians 4:7 (NKJV)
What He is calling earthen vessel is your body
There are treasures in the inside of you
Divine treasures inside
Which means you are moving treasure
As you are moving, you are a moving asset
It starts with you, that’s why we are starting with you; building your intangible assets
As you study the scripture you will discover lots of gifting that God has given to you to use that you need these qualities to build
In discovering the gifts that God has put inside of you to develop your intangible assets you need the following:
- Courage
Joshua 1:1-6
If God says He is with you, shouldn’t you just cross your hands.
You must be strong and of good courage
For you to succeed, you must be very courageous
It takes courage to get wealthy
To build wealth, you must be very courageous
By the time you are getting bigger and bigger, you will face bigger and bigger adversaries, enemies both physically and spiritually, they will come against you
Even the ones you are using your wealth to help
I refuse to be small
It doesn’t matter who the adversary is, I am growing bigger and bigger
So what do you do?
You start building up your courage
What is courage?
Courage is the ability to do those things that frighten you
Courage is displaying strength in the face of adversity
So, when God was telling Joshua to be courageous, He was telling Him to Joshua is going to face lots of challenges.
So you train yourself
Start training yourself
Don’t be afraid
There are some people who get afraid of a lot of things
How many of you know what frightens people that stop them from making money
OR:
What are things that prevent people from building wealth?
- fear of losing money: especially when they have lost money before
Have heard people say a bird in hand is worth two in the bush?
That adage is correct except that there are different ways that some see it
Some see it as they have to keep what they have in hand instead of finding the two in the bush because they don’t really know where those two are
Others see it as what they have in hand is a bait for them to use to catch the other two in the bush
So even if they lose the one they have in hand, it is not really a loss because they still have two in the bush
But God doesn’t want us to be at that place where we are always afraid of losing something. When you walk with the Spirit of God, you do not lose
I’m sure almost all of you here went through secondary school
In statistics, plotting a graph is really not about the drops as you plot but the trajectory of the point you plot
At some point in your life it might actually look like there are some drops but don’t use the present state of things, nor just a point in your life to determine the whole story
When you do, you become stagnant
A lot of people are afraid especially when they have made some losses before
But sometimes God uses those things to teach you something
Train yourself not to fear
Train yourself not to be afraid of losing
And when it looks as though you are losing ask yourself who made the money you ‘lost’
Who made it before?
You made it
So if you made it you can make another one
Im not saying that you stay on the path of losing but that you should have the consciousness that you are the one who made the money you lost so you can still make another one.
- fear of death:
If somebody tells you to invest in tree that will be very expensive int he next 40 years will you do it?
A lot of people want to enjoy now rather than in future investments because of the fear of death.
- Fear of peoples opinion: especially when it looks like people have a certain perception of who you are
God blesses you based on the responsibilities that He has for you
I told you on Sunday that everyday minute you spend, you are actually expending money.
Take your mind off what people think about you and focus on the word
