What is glory?

Answers from the congregation:

The radiation of the totality of God through a person or an event

It signifies splendour, excellence, beauty

Glory is the love of God in us

It is praise to God

 

Dictionary meaning

 High renown or honour won by notable achievements

Synonyms: great beauty, light

Light is actually beautiful

 

Do you believe that as a child of God you have glory in you?

Yes!

You have glory in you

God actually expects us to

 

The world is getting darker and darker does not mean there is no glory in the world

We are the light if the world

God doesn’t want us to slide on the path that the world is treading on

God doesn’t want us to allow such things to cause our hearts to veer off what He has asked us to do

Every child of God has the glory of God inside

There is the life of God in the inside of us that attracts the world to us

It is the word of God in your spirit that beautifies you in your spirit

 

2 Corinthians 4:6

 

No matter how dark the world is, light can come out of it

No matter how wicked or terrible the world is, goodness can come out of it

God is shining out of my heart

God shines out of my heart

 

As God is shining, He is not shinning into our hearts but out of our hearts

Because He is resident in our hearts

God shines out of our hearts

Which means there is no darkness in my life

 There is no darkness in my heart

there is no darkness in my mind

there is no darkness in my home because God dwells in the inside of me

 

verse 7

sometimes a lot of Christians are focusing on the vessel and so they give all the credit to the vessel

so sometimes when they are talking about how they arrived at a certain success they talk about a whole lot of things and eave-out the God-factor

 

there is an aura beyond what a man can create

1.       understand that you are a Child of God and so you carry the glory of God

2.       this glory is beyond what this earthen vessel is

I carry the glory of God

I radiate the glory of God

I am the glory of God

 

2 Corinthians 3:18

I have an understanding of the word of God

 

Everything beautiful thing that you read in God’s word is a reflection of yourself

 

God wants us to grow in our glory

The word of God brings heaven to us here on earth

It brings the totality of God to bear in our lives

 

Luke 9:30-33

When you come to understand the glory of God that is wrapped around you nobody will have to come and call you for prayer, you will remain

It is not only when we come to church that we experience the glory of God

the glory of God is right here with us, and God wants us to be conscious of the glory that surrounds us

 

 

the glory of God has come to dwell in the inside of us

the totality of God has come to dwell in the inside of you so no fear in you

it is always good for us to recognize His presence in our lives

don’t wait for the Holy Spirit to ask you to pray

we can actually be in a perpetual 6place of prayer

you are beautiful inside out
