Service Title: Guard you Heart

Pastor Earnest Teaching:

 

The word of God does not help a man for the moment it changes you for life.

we need to grow from what we are doing now to reach out to more and more people.

 

Jesus did not come for condemnation.

We should see the prison as an environment where people are kept for us to reach.

Children are our future.

the things that are happening today are happening because of the doctrine the children of yesterday were indoctrinated with.

There is the wisdom of the just.

When the word of God comes, it uplifts a man.

We’ve only been able to enter a few schools

if we all take up a school you can imagine the impact that we can make

remember that we are the hope of heaven

You are the one He is counting on.

It is not just enough for us to raise up good children in our homes, we must go to the streets, we must go beyond our homes

so, we need more people, we need more of you

Take up a school, be a part of what we are doing

you may not be young does not mean you cannot reach out to the young ones

It is not about age, it is about impacting the world with the word of God.

The Church is not just a place we come to listen and go

If you are loading yourself and you are not giving out, very soon you will explode

this explosion is not the positive one            

God does not want us to do that

You are blessing

Reach out to somebody

Take up schools

Thank God for the beautiful testimonies that we have all received.

 

When you get the rhapsody, spend time to read it and meditate on it

Let the word stay in you

if you can’t read let someone who knows how to read, read it to you

The devil is a trickster

he may take the rhapsody from your hand but don’t let him take it away from your mind and spirit

 

1 Timothy 1:1-5

you are functioning in peace so that whatsoever thing you hear you are not bothered

you are functioning in grace

His mercies are new to us every morning

 

 The greatest critics of the Christendom are Christians

Those who say foul things about the house of God are Christians

when a house wants to stand strong, let the members of that house stand strong

 

Anyone you hear talking about something that does not edify your faith, run from them

Even if they are leaders in church.

 

when you are negatively impacted it shows up in your interest in the things of God

What has gone wrong?

you have listened to the wrong people

some of such people are within us

today you are going to purge yourself

there may be things that you have heard that have made you no longer passionate about the things of God

 

Sadly, a lot of Christians are disqualifying themselves

God wants you to be fully and completely committed to the things that He has committed to you.

Guard your heart!

Guard your mind

because the things that you accept into your heart are things that control you

 

The devil quotes the scriptures

Remember his encounter with Jesus, he quoted scriptures to Jesus just to get Jesus to do what he (the devil) wanted

what kind of friends do you keep?

when you have a friend who does not understand what leadership is, you are one with such a person.

 

Purge yourself this morning

you are praying for yourself

 

Why must you judge another person based on what the other party said?

Anything that you hear from another person that does not edify, nor makes you passionate for the things of God, reject it

 

It is true that God has called us to bring many into salvation but your personal salvation first

The word of God comes to you to love from a pure heart

love is not momentary, love is for all seasons

If I love God, I love God publicly and privately

The commandment is love from a pure heart, a good conscience, and a sincere faith

The love of God has been shed abroad in our hearts

Build it, grow it!

 

Even if someone does something wrong, the Bible says let the master of the fellow judge him not you

we are God’s people and the love of God that has been shed abroad in our hearts is not only for our brothers but also for everybody

 

1 Corinthians 15:58

-          declare that you are steadfast, immovable

-          always abounding

-          steadfastly making progress

-          His light is burning in you and through

-          Wash yourself with the word of God that you have received

-          you are a child of God and

-          your salvation is yours

-          you love God with a pure heart

-          you are not going to be disqualified

-          you are fervent in spirit

-          you are in this race for life

-
