So, how was last week

Did you have a great time?

We are in a week of the healing streams live healing service and I'm sure you are ready

Are you prepared?

you still have some few days to finalise on your preparation

Its starting on the 18tu which Friday and it's an exciting time

 

We are looking out for the manifestation of God's presence and power in the lives of everyone.

its our month of higher heights and we are grateful to Go for promotion

just lift up your hands and thank the Lord

He is merciful

His mercies are new to us every morning

God always wants to do good to every man no matter who they are because it is an expression of His personality

Glory be to God

 

let’s look t 2 Corinthians 5:18

On Wednesday for those of you that were here we were looking at the life of Elijah

And I was sharing with you that God doesn't want any of us to fail

We all have a definite responsibility, a calling, work to do which God has assigned to everyone of us

but the devil doesn't want us to succeed

but he is not a factor

the truth is that he is not a factor

he is not a factor because Jesus already defeated him

and Jesus has given us everything that we need to make a success of whatever assignment that He gives to us

but that doesn't mean the devil is asleep

but we are the ones not to be ignorant of what Gd has given unto us and how to take advantage, use what He has given to you and succeed

succeed to the extent that God wants you to succeed, finish your course, live triumphantly.

Get the results that God has ordained you get

bring the results that He has called you to bring because you are on His assignment

 

we know that Elijah was such a great prophet, but he allowed fear into his life, so he didn’t quite fulfil the work that God gave to him

But that shouldn’t be the story of any of us

 Elijah had done so many things, mighty thing

Lived in a time where the Israelites had turned their back on God and were serving idols and he needed to bring a correction; to allow righteousness to reign

and he said to the king and to the nation because you have turned your back on God there’s not going to be rain and there was no rain

 

He proved to them that the God of Elijah was the only true God

 

 

you can imagine the kind of honour and respect that Elijah will have at that time, just calling fire from heaven to consume the sacrifice

But when he killed the prophets of Baal Jezebel sought to kill him also and the Bible said he was afraid and went into hiding.

the scripture says that he was hiding under bushes

 

And this is the month that God is calling us up because there are some of us who are hiding int the caves

but God is saying eave the cave and come up to the mountain

God wants everyone of us to come up to the mountain

 

There are so many things that we do in the world today and sometimes question "why are these things happening"

there are some of us that are offended by what a brother or a sister did to us in church

but God is saying leave the cave and come up to the mountain, it's a time for your promotion

there are things that you need to leave behind and come to the place that God is calling you to

 

There's a higher place in life

there’s a higher life to live

This month God is bringing us to that place where we will have a direct communication, a place of love, a place of joy, a place of excitement, a place of divine results, a place where God talks to us

we hear Him directly, distinctly, we know what do and we are excited about doing it

And the beautiful thing about God's discussion with Elijah is that when God spoke to Elijah, Jezebel was not mentioned one time

which means as far as God was concerned, jezebel was not a factor

and God sent him back to the same place where he was running away from

God expects everyone of us to finish our course

and so, there’s a work to be done

there are results that God expects us to bring, you must get focused on that result

 

We are not saying that times will not come that will try to bring discouragement to your life, but when are focused on the purpose of God’s calling on your life, there will be no room for discouragement

what will you be discouraged about?

 because you know what God has called you to do, your hands are on the work

daily you are working

when you are called to pray you are there to pray

you look beyond your needs

you are always looking for that next big thing to do for God

 

God wants everyone around us to be saved and everyone living in health.

sometimes some people hurt and offend you and when you kneel down to pray you pray that God will punish them.

 

If that Jezebel of your life is being punished like you think because of what he or she did to you, can you still pray for them?

You should because there's a higher life

 

Verse 18: who are the us that God has reconciled to Himself?

everyone; not just a Christian, everyone on the face of the earth

As far as God is concerned everyone is reconciled to Him

And this is the news that He has called us to bear because lots of people are not aware and they are running away from God

God is no longer angry at anyone

It is our responsibility to let them know that God is not angry at them

Jesus has died, resurrected and ascended so everyone ought to know that

Healing is for everyone

God wants everyone healed, saved and reconciled to Him

 

2 Peter 3:9

The expression of His patience is because He is not willing that any should perish

Jesus has not returned yet

why because He wants this gospel to be preached in every nation of the world so that the opportunity will be given to every nation and everyone on the face of the earth, He is not willing that any should perish

he is longsuffering because He wants this message of salvation to reach everyone grass on the face of the world

He is patiently waiting

God understands that once a man dies the opportunity to be saved

 

Hell was not made for any man, it was made for Satan and his angels and all those that follow him

God is saying we have heard and received the gospel so we let the whole world know because He is not willing that any should perish

 

John 3:16:Jesus died for everyone

He did not die for the Christians

The Christians only received what He has given

Somebody needs to hear and believe and be changed through you

you have become God’s vessel to administer health and preach the gospel

Tell God 'I am a vessel in your hands so use me for any purpose'

The soul of one person is valuable to God

So our lives hold inspire others that God gave to us

the souls of one person is valuable to God

2 Corinthians 3:6

the Bible lets us know that we are able ministers of God

God has made me an able minister of the New Testament

I am an able minister

I have the ability, strength and wisdom

I have all it takes to minister this grace of salvation and righteousness to somebody else

If God calls you an able minister, put yourself in the place where He has called you

God looked at Elijah and did not see any reason why he should be discouraged but Elijah gave himself up to discouragement

 

Looking at Elijah, there was no need for fear.

Like some of us today, God is working in us and with us yet we are still afraid

God has made us able minister but when there comes the time for us to show our ability we hide

I refuse to hide.

I am not a hiding type

there is no secret service Christian

 

How many of you has somebody heard from you that there is going to be helping streams live healing service this week?

You have friends, you have colleagues even that wicked neighbour that acts like Jezebel

God is not willing that any should perish

Go with the love of God

and say this is the time that God wants salvation for everyone

God is willing to our out Himself on every soul, bring healing to everyone

God doesn't just want us to go with the fliers

Pastor says this is not the time of just churning out fliers and dropping rhapsody to people, he said it’s a time of engagement

this is the time to sit someone down and make him understand

God is asking us to engage with people

Sit down with them and bring faith and healing to the person

there are those whoa re sick and have tried everything that they knew and have been told

and so when someone tells them there is hope, they doubt because as far as they are concerned, nothing works

Don't give up on anyone even if the person has given up Himself

our responsibility is to get those people engaged

you sit them down and bring them in; be a source of encouragement

that’s what God has sent us to do

Jesus Christ came to seek and to save, that’s our responsibility, that's what God has called us to do

for He hath made us able ministers

So, you are able

you have the time, strength, money

Everything that I require to make a success of this calling, I have it

so put it to work!

 

2 Corinthians 6:1

we are workers together with God

Paul recognised that he was a worker together with God

Have you come to the place where you recognise that you are a worker together with God?

You are not just doing it because Pastor asked you to do it

God has assigned you to do it and you are co-laborers with God

what a knowledge, joy, and peace to know that we are workers together with God

what an encouragement to know that we are workers together with God; you do the work and you know that you are a worker together with God

you are working with Him

 

God the monarch of the universe, you are working with Him

You understand that there will nit be any thought of failure because you are working with God

if your physical strength ever fails you, God is with you to infuse His strength to you

you are never discouraged because you know that you are working together with God

you will always be focused because you know that you are working together with God

don’t take the grace of God for granted

God has graced us

We are able ministers

Everything that we require God has equipped us with

we can succeed, we can bring the desired results

what heaven wants us to do we can bring every result that God wants to bring from us

there is so much that God has given to us but don’t take the grace of God in vain

because you and not make use of it

 

Grace that you received but have not utilised it is a grace in vain

Grace that you received but administer it for something else, is misappropriation of Grace; it’s a grace in vain

but God equipped you, endowed you so that you can carry out this ministry of reconciliation in the earth

There are people that God has ordained for salvation and healing through you

make sure they receive their healing

there are people that God had ordained for salvation through you, just make sure that they do

so, there is grace at work in you

you may not know it but God is telling you now

you are leaving here this morning knowing that the grace of God and presence of God is with you

 

 

Grace comes with acceptability

Where others are rejected, you will be accepted

so, don’t say that because others are rejected you will also be rejected

God is saying that you will succeed while others are failing

why not take advantage of that and say that I am a success

I have the ability to make people listen to me

they will be positively impacted by the grace that is in me

1 Timothy 1:11

what kind of life ought we to live knowing that we are people endowed with the grace of God?

The gospel is glorious

Its full of beauty

Its the essence of divinity

Why because where this gospel goes, upliftment goes, hope goes

hope comes with the gospel

grace comes with the gospel

righteousness comes with the gospel

Salvation comes with the gospel

favour and promotion come with the gospel

That is why Paul said 'I am not ashamed of the gospel '

because wherever this gospel goes, the lives of men are changed forever

Joy comes, peace comes unity comes to families

love is restored, wherever this gospel goes, lives are transformed

all that is required is for anyone to just believe

for a lot of time there are people who have carried the gospel with a little error hence it couldn’t perform what it was meant to do

 

God is not asking anyone to repent and come

how can you repent and turn from your sin? Its not possible!

 God doesn’t want anyone to clean Himself up and come to Him- No

Jesus said whosoever wills let Him come to Me

God said even if you are as dark as charcoal, or as red as red crimson, come as you are because it is His presence, the acceptance of His gospel that cleanses you and makes you as white as snow

and that is the word that God has given to us

the power of cleansing is in the gospel

 All that God expects you to do is just for you to believe

 

Don't say you don't have the ability because the gospel brings the abilities

When you come into Christ, you are born again, you are renewed, you are given the glorious life

You have the responsibility to preserve and disseminate this gospel

you have the responsibility to allow this gospel to work in the lives of men

Its not about just preaching it,  its about raising people unto God

so as they get born again you sit them down and teach them precept upon precept

you make sure they are enrolled in foundation school till they grow to become someone like you

preach this gospel to every creature

Hallelujah

 

Because God wants righteousness to reign in the face of the earth, in every home and in every institution

He wants money to do the right thing

God wants time to be put in the right thing

God wants homes to do the right thing

He wants Hs righteousness to fill every home, hearts filled with righteousness

when this gospel comes into a man and he discovers the purpose of His being, it permeates into everything that that man owns

 

 

Romans 12:10-12

What kind of people ought you to be?

Be kindly affectioned one to another

We are talking about your high calling; the place that God has called you to

It’s a life that you are filled with the essence of divinity where every fibre of your being is the nature of God; your reasonings the reasoning’s of God, your words the words of God, your actions the actions of God

Become the god that one can touch, hear and feel because you carry His presence

see everyone around you with brotherly love

We are talking about the higher calling; a place where this gospel has inundated your being and so it just exudes, it reaches everyone that comes in contact with you

 

When the gospel comes to you class doesn't matter anymore

Because you see every other person the way you see yourself

you are able to love everyone the way you love yourself and even beyond yourself the way God loves you

why because yourself has become the God in your life

because when you are born again, you have the nature of God

so even when people offend you, you are not affected

 

God is not a lazy God

He is not a God that starts something and says 'it's too hard and so it can’t be finished

No! God always starts to finish

He puts His time to effective use

so you also have been called to that

 

 

This is not the time to be lazy to pray

there is a war going on

so its not the time to say let me sleep a little

Sleep is good but this is not the time to be lazy

Everything that you need to accomplish God has put the ability in you

Don't put the grace of God to sleep

Spend time to study God's word.

Get yourself inundated with God's word because you are a vessel of God

you are not every other person

you have been separated by God to use you for His purpose

There must be a separation unto God

God has separated you to Himself to use for His purpose

 

When you are called to pray don’t say I’m praying at home

there’s a time to pray at home and there’s a time for corporate prayer

 

It’s our responsibility to bring everyone in our sphere of contact in.

Because everyone is vital, relevant and important

because everyone has a responsibility to ensure that this battle is fought and won

and so don’t count yourself out!

you are in already so be fervent in spirit serving the Lord

 

Verse 12:

Don't be distracted by the things that happening around you

don’t be carried away by what others are saying or by the news that others are carrying

There is a news that God has given to us to carry

Don’t be surprised by what is happening in the world today because God has already told us what is going to happen in the last days

but we don’t allow such things to allow us lose hope

ad the greatest hope that we have is that Christ is coming soon

And He is going to meet every one of us

He wants to meet everyone of us in the place that He has called us to be

So, we rejoice in this hope

and we know that you can only rejoice in this hope when you are involved in or engaged in the things that He has called you to do

 

Be where God wants you to be

Be doing what He has assigned to you

so that when He calls you, you will joyfully answer

Glory be to God!

God has not called us to a life free of tribulations, persecutions, troubles and challenges

but you are patient because you know what the result is

the things that you are impacted with or by today are not here to destroy you

when you are called to pray, you pray

 

we are called you to distribute the word of God, through Rhapsody of Realities

The word of God is a necessity for every soul

but we do not shy away from other responsibilities that God has assigned to us

Be mindful of people’s welfare

 

Its not a time to be asking God to give you

We have been endowed with all things that we need for a successful life

look beyond your needs

what are you called to do?

what is the responsibility that God has given to you?

Bless them that persecute you because it is a time of blessing

you are called to bless

Think of how you can help somebody with what God has blessed you with

Say this 'I am blesser'

let words of blessing always come out of your mouth

Bless your home, city, children neighbourhood, and those that are in power even if you don’t belong to that political power

never see yourself as an opposition even if you are not in government

You are not an opposer

You are a blesser

say I am a blesser

learn to commend people for the good things they do

If they do the wrong things learn to correct them

let the light so shine that men will see and glorify your Father which is in heaven

Bless your world with the blessing that God has blessed you with

 

let your words always be edifying, encouraging, inspiring to your hearers

that’s what God has called us to do and there’s no better way to bless our nations, cities and neighbours than the gospel of Christ

Let this gospel fill you richly so that by the time you are talking, you are talking the gospel and by the time you are acting you are acting the gospel

Glory be to God!

Be empathic

feel somebody’s pain

 

there are different kinds of sicknesses

funnily, there are medical doctors who are terribly sick, so we have to let them understand that there is a balm in Gilead

Go and talk to somebody, bring in somebody

Find out those who are sick

 

 

There are those who are financially sick

There are those who are maritally sick

 

We are reconcilers

We are those that bring many out of darkness, suffering and shame and bring them into the beauty of God

 

don’t see yourself as better than everyone else

There are those who carry that air of superiority; they have people they cannot sit and gist with, they have people that cannot come into their circle why because they see themselves as very high and others as very low

No don’t have that kind of mindset

Be humble.

Let people feel accommodated in your presence

whoever that person is, understand that you are a blesser; your presences is supposed to change somebody else

let your words, presence, and acquaintance with other people change them

God Almighty came in the form of a man

He so loved the world that He put on humanity so that He can save all of us

we are all one in the sight of God

You must be able to carry everyone along with you

condescend to those who are of a low state

what does this mean?

He is saying bring that bring them up from that low state and let them know that God wants them to live a higher life

let your acquaintance with somebody transform their lives

as much as it lies with you live peaceably with all men

don’t try to change the other person

see the responsibility of change with you

If there must be a peaceful coexistence, let it start with you

be the one to not only initiate it but also make sure that it happens

if you have to pray about it pray about it

pray not for God to change the person but for God to make you acceptable in the person’s eyes

its about me!

Glory be to God!

You are the one to take the gospel by yourself and change yourself

Hallelujah

don’t get yourself filled with anger

let God whatever ting that He wants to do

feed your enemy!

raise your hand and say ‘thank you Lord Jesus’

I love Jesus

Praise the Lord Jesus

verse 20: not coals of fire that will destroy the person

I am like God

I am able to love anyone!

God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance

Paul said to hand over the person that has refused correction to the devil so that his soul may be saved

Which means God is interested in the salvation of every soul and not in the destruction of anyone

So, coals of fire in verse 20 is not to destroy the person but to bring that person out of Hos ways of foolishness

So, you are full of love

love can save anyone

 

 

Verse 21: can you do that!

remember He said that He has made you an able minister

not only do we minister by publicity, nor the distribution of Rhapsody but we also minister by our lifestyle

because we have become a written epistle read by all men

your actions are actually portraying the gospel of Christ

you are the light of the world

maybe there are people that have offended you and are going through challenging times, don’t get excited about that

bring the gospel of salvation t them

if you can help them, go and help

and the greatest help is to bring this gospel to such people

some people may have done terrible things to you in the past and sometimes you are tempted to believe that they are being punished for what they did

but you can reverse that punishment even if they were being punished

look at Jesus on the tree, those that were nailing Him and those who had beaten Him, what did He say?

 ‘Father forgive them for they know not what they do’

And as He is, so are we in this word

So, there is no evil in you don’t ever repay somebody with evil

you can only repay with what you have and you are full of goodness, righteousness, love, and kindness
