Yesterday we began dealing with the end of the age and we looked at some of the things that Jesus said about the age and how it will come to a close

 

One of the most respected organisations in the world is the United Nations (UN) with its headquarters in New York

It was set up to ensure peace and security in the world; peaceful coexistence of the nations

But we often forget, overlook the fact that in history absolute power corrupts absolutely

And men have never been satisfied with limited authority

 

Hitler came in peacefully and gradually there is a metamorphosis, and they turn into these agents of darkness

How can a man give you peace whose heart has no peace?

The most important part of a man is his spirit

And Jesus said except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God

Peace, truth is in the word of God

The worlds peace is only in words

You trust the promise on the basis of the character of the one who made the promise

if the character is not consistent with truth, how can you believe the promise?

 

The current secretary general of the UN was once the Prime minister of his own country, and he is a die-hard socialist. He was also the president of socialist-international

 

when this socialist secretary general speaks outside the UN and soe other places he may give the impression of a gentleman; he has the face of a gentlemen

One of the reasons there are problems in your various country is because of people like the current secretary general of the UN

He said “we must make lying wrong again”

We haven’t come this far to be stupid, foolish and quiet

 

The role of the UN in Bible prophecy has always been a mystery to many people

United States is a child and an offspring of Europe

And any president that has a different narrative from theirs is brough down

 

Revelation 13:2

Daniel 7:4

 

there are some things that we require to understand in the word

 

Understanding the Signs given by the Lord Jesus

Because of a misunderstanding of the scriptures there are a lot of misconceptions about the signs

 

Matthew 24:1-14

verse 13: obviously He wasn’t talking to those present as though they were going to be at the end of the age

verse 14: there seems to be a disconnect so we have another writer Mark

where there is a striking difference is in the account of Luke

Luke 1:1-3

 

Matthew was writing as just providing facts as he was led to give; not all the acts because John also had his own facts

Luke says he wrote having had perfect understanding

Luke is writing with added implications

 

Jesus and his disciples as recorded by these 2 writers is that Jesus was at the same place, thus, at the Temple ground

 

Luke 21:1-8

from Luke 21 and Matthew 24, the journey was from there straight to the Cross

 

Matthew 24:13-20

Luke 21:5-24

mark these four words in verse 12 but before all these

In verse 12: here is where we have a clear reference to the disciples and their future

here Jesus was talking to them as Jewish believers because the Church was not yet inaugurated

 

when shall all these take place?

they begin with Revelation chapter 6

 

verse 20: the word and is not the same and we often use but it is translated as but, etc

verse 17: a different word is used for and here, it is kai

 

all those signs that Jesus gave is not about the Church

the all these are in the last days, thus, in Daniel’s 7 years prophecy

 

verse 24: this is what He is dealing with what is Revelation 11

Revelation 11:1-3

 

Matthew 24:30-

Lots of amazing things in the Kingdom of God

Isaiah 9:6

verse 6: is Wonderful Counsellor which translates to the Extraordinary Strategist

this was fulfilled 700 years later and there was nothing like it!

Sometimes a prophecy takes a long time before it happens

 

God knows how to bring His word to pass!

right after Jesus was born something happened in the world: peace on earth and goodwill to men hallelujah!

 

we are in the winning team

the gospel of Christ and the power of His Increase has been growing continually: of His increase and government and peace there shall be no end

 

The only way satan gets to run this world is when we are out of this world; he doesn’t have a chance!

Jesus had a strategy and I’m going to show you.

It is in Ephesians 4:12-16: these are Ministry gifts

We are going know so Jesus1

This is why God sent me to tell you about who Jesus is

Jesus is God in flesh

One of my best moments is when I had the opportunity to share on Healing Streams for a few minutes that Jesus is God

 

We are not talking about leaving the bad things for the good things

no this is about leaving the good things for the best

you should have left the bad things a long time ago

He wants you to grow in Him

 

Ephesians 3:14-21

with this happening with you, you have no fears

verse 18: the four dimensions of love

 

the Holy Spirit brings the presence of God to you

the anointing of God came to live inside you

now al of the anointing of Gid lives inside you

The Bible doesn’t say there is an anointing for an office but rather the grace for the office

The Bible says He gives more grace

but He cannot increase the Holy Ghost in your life

you are not given the Spirit by measure, you are given the Spirit in full measure

My life is very consistent because I walk in His word

 

verse 20: you can never ask Him for too much

He died for you, gave His life for you what could be better than what He gave you

you meant a lot to Him, that’s why He gave you His life

You haven’t asked yet something that exhausts His ability
