Sermon title: Consistency
God never runs out of new things
We have entered into this year of surprises
Things you never expected will happen this year
God has chosen you for these last days and He is going to use you for the extraordinary these last days
Goodness is coming to you increase, expansion and multiplication are coming to you
Men will run after you this year, they will run after you this year
We were not out to prove anything last year but you proved something
You made it clearly known that it is not of him who runs, nor him that willeth but it is God that shows mercy
Last year is gone and we are excited about it but the good news is there are greater things this year
This year you are going to prove that God prepared you last year because He prepared you for a time like this and we have started
This year is going to be a time with the Holy Ghost
This year always remember that God is with you
He is there to remind you an empower you so that no point in your life will miss anything that you desire to do or that God has for you
Whenever we talk about fasting and praying let the answer come forth first
Who are the clouds?
We are the clouds
We are the waters that will pour out salvation to the world
We are the water-holding clouds of God
And there is no power of hell that prevent us from gathering
Ecclesiastes 11:3
1 Corinthians 15:51-, 6:1
God’s desire is that everyone person on thence of the earth will hear the gospel
God’s desire is that every single person on the face of earth to receive the gospel
God wants everyone grass on the field(very woman, man, boy and girl on the face of the earth) to receive salvation
When people come in contact with
I am full of water and I am pouring it out
We are not just a conduit we are a source
I am a source of goodness because the Holy Spirit dwells in the inside of me
(Ecclesiastes 11:3) talks about consistency
He is Coming soon and that is our joy and excitement; He is Coming very soon
The law came to reveal sin
But the whole world is still living under the law not knowing that grace has come
We are the carriers of grace today and so we must let the world know that grace has come
Verse 57 that victory is the grace that He has given us
Verse 58- God is saying remain in the place where I have chosen
Remain in the responsibility that God has given to you
Nothing should be good enough to …from what God has called you
I choose to be steadfast, unlovable always abounding in the work of the Lord
Verse 57 MSG- every energy you out into it is not wasted
We are in 2022 let your heart desire be to do beyond what you did in 2021
Have a desire to do more
Be ready to give more of your time, energy and resources to the purpose that God has called you yo; be ready to do more
You require consistency !
You are the power of God at work in the inside
God has manifested Himself in me so don’t fail
I will make that power available all the time; make it available to those around you
They may not know that that you are the one making the power available but what is important is that God knows and He is the One making that power available for you
Where to be Consistent:
- Make the power available; be consistent in your prayer life. I provide the power and I am consistent in my. Prayer life I am always there and I am always there
- Evangelism and Soul-winning: let the preaching of God be what you do every day.
Don’t allow somebody to see your face without knowing what is in the inside of you
3. Church attendance: be consistent in your church attendance
Let God have the confidence in you; See the testimony He gave concerning Job
There ought to be a covering around you all the time
The world is wicked and God has brought us into a covering so you must be consistent in church
Chpt 16:1-3 (KJV, MSG, NIV)
4. Be consistent in your giving
You must excel in your giving
You must excel in your partnership
Verse 2: every first day of the week
As you are giving on a Sunday you set yourself aside for the greater things the following week
Put in mind the purpose for God blessing you
God wants you to increase and the increase must be consistent
This year let it not be that we have call Pastor or our Regional Pastor to come and organise a program to motivate us before we give.
He (Pastor Chris) is going to come with expectations
You are going to be a blessing to the global ministry that Pastor is going to be having this year; everyone of you
Everything that God has done in your life is worthy to bring another person to Christ; you are God’s testimony to the world
Be where God expects you to be
When Christ comes, He is looking for those who are in Him and not those who are at the theatre (in the world)
If you discover that Church services no longer interests you don’t write to the Pastor to change the program, fast and pray the problem is from you
Why because,
Church services are supposed to interest you and bring you joy and excitement as a Child of God
Even if you are the only one in church and you just lift your hands, joy will fill your heart; its not about the activities
Everything that God has ordained for you this year will happen
You are the light of the world
And this Water of Life that the Spirit of God has started in you will quench the thirst of many
This year you will not be the one looking for answers you will be the one producing the answers
There are things that God has created in the inside of you that may not have come out, this year there is going to an explosion of those things
Ideas are going to come out of you this year; great ideas that will bring great benefits to the Kingdom of Christ
This year you will bring hope to many
This year no wants nor lack in your life
This year you will not have any need to kneel down to pray to God for your needs, there is going to be a continuous supply of your needs
As you come into the House of God this year, praying serving and worshiping Him the desires of nations will be coming unto you
Your barns will get full to the over-flowing in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ
This year you will live in health
You will fear no evil because you know no weapon fashioned against you shall prosper
But a major thing will happen to you this year, as you walk through that valley of evil you will be a deliverer to those who are dying in that valley.
Everyone of your desires will be met this year
