Thanksgiving Service with Pastor Earnest
Ephesians 5:15-20 (NKJV)
A fool is not an ignorant person; a fool is somebody who has the knowledge and refuses to apply it
Do not walk as fools but walk with the wisdom that God has given you
Jesus is the word of God made flesh.
In walking as one that is wise, learn to redeem the time because the days are evil.
Each day is going to come with its own message to you
God has given us time, take advantage and make good use of it
Learn to make the best use of time
God brings His word into your spirit to enlighten you
Understand that wisdom is not intelligence
Wisdom is vindicated by its results
Wisdom is the application of knowledge
God wants us to hear to do and I hear to do
And because you hear to do you will always stand in the place that He has called you.
There is a life that God has called us to
There is a power that is at work in the inside of you
Make sure that He is the one fuelling you 24/7
Challenges will always come but let them be bigger
Walk in the path where the challenges will be bigger
No matter what you faced in 2021 don’t let them become your challenge in 2022
God wants my joy full
He wants your joy full because He knows what’s best for you
Take out time to study the word; find out what God says about you
If Pastor is truly your pastor, choose to believe whatever he tells you no matter how you feel about it
Learn to sensitise your spirit with God’s word
Everyone of us needs cleansing by the word
Learn to cleanse yourself with the word of God every time
The word of God has been given to you to direct you
Be circumspect
Follow the word that has raised you and follow it with your heart
Don’t question your man of God
The Holy Spirit is your fuel
Let Him take the place that God has sent Him to be in your life
The things you hear around the world can only create fear in your heart
Hear what God says about you, speak it to yourself
Get to know the word of God for yourself
Stay by the word don’t allow the circumstances of life dictate who you are at that point in time
When you are full of God’s word you will always be full of thanksgiving to Him
Wisdom is not about intelligence
Wisdom is justified by the fruits that it bears
- Never accept everything that comes
Your mind ought to be a mind that is cultivated by you
Don’t allow everything that comes in your body remain in your body
Don’t allow everything that comes to your home remain in your home
Don’t accommodate sickness and say it is a cross that God has given to you
Open your house for goodness to come
Open your mind for more goodness to come
Fill your mind with the word of God
Never accept anything and everything; sort them out
- Learn to appreciate the value of people in your life
Everyone that comes to us is not by accident
People don’t come into your life by accident
At every point in time there are people that we meet help them see the true value of their lives
- Choose to see the end from the beginning
