Service Title: In the Place of Prayer

Last week we learned about Ezekiel's vision of dry bones

Our words have the power to change any situation

 

We shouldn’t only wait for situations to be dire before we run to God for prayer

Men ought always to pray

He is not just talking about “men as in the plural for man but about humans”

 

We are able to visualize in the place of prayer

Pastor once said it is when He closes his eyes that he really sees

In a place of prayer, you are able to see spiritually

You are able to see the situations of life beyond what they seem

 

No matter the situation that you are in, in the place of prayer, you are able to change all situations

 

Prayer is not just about asking God to do things

There are different kinds of prayer

For example, the prayer of faith requires you to use your faith

 

There are situations that God expects you to change

There are other situations that He expects you to talk to Him and then He can move in to make that change

 

If you can change anything in prayer, then you should never see anything as unchangeable

if I can, God can

Jesus said ask so that you may receive and your joy may be full

 

In the place of prayer, we receive ideas

Sometimes people say ‘I don’t just know what to do’; instead of saying this why don’t you go into the place of prayer and God will show you what to do

 

In the place of prayer, you receive divine ideas

Ideas concerning every area of your life

in every area of your life, God expects you to always be in charge

 

 

God is a God of ideas

I can never be stranded in life; not when God is with me

Through prayer we are guided to get things done; definite plans you must take to make things happen

 

God is a God of results, so you are a child of results

When you win in the spirit realm, you understand that there is nothing that can successfully stand against you

When you understand the principles of prayer, your role in prayer, and God’s place in prayer you just understand that there is nothing that you cannot do

 

 

Through prayer, we take advantage of the power of God to accomplish our goals

If it is true that we can accomplish our goals what goals can be too high for us to accomplish

in the place of prayer, you turn things around to your advantage

Things work out to the desires of your heart

 

Sometimes our attitude in the face of challenges prevent us from getting the desired results

 

In the realm of the spirit, a demon can wonder several desert places in the twinkling of an eye

When you know how God works and the power of prayer, you will know how circumstances respond to you no matter what

It doesn’t matter how it looks out physically, I just know that circumstances respond

I turn things around when I pray

God has given me the privilege to pray so I get the desired answers

Your attitude is very important

 

Genesis 1:1-2 (KJV, MSG, AMPC)

the same word translated ‘hovered’ is translated brooded in other translations

Another meaning is to relax

 

Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV)

it doesn’t matter how the situation looks, be anxious for nothing

when you see someone who is anxious you see someone who is not relaxed

When you are anxious you are saying that faith doesn’t work, but faith works all the time

because I can pray, I refuse to be anxious

Relax!

 

When you allow anxiety, anxiety will still your advantages from you

Your anxieties will give you a confession that is not consistent with His word

 

I live by faith

Don’t allow anxiety to steal your moments of advantage

in the place of prayer and faith, God gives you the advantage

Remember, those that observe lying vanities forsake their mercies

 

Joshua 5:13-15

when you are anxious, you refuse to lift up your eyes

That is why when you are cast down, you put your face down

People who are demoralized look down

 

it took boldness for Joshua to go up to the Man and question Him

Refuse to be cast down

You are not down, you are up

 

In the place of prayer, the Holy Spirit gives you strategies to win

We must learn to lift up our eyes

Don’t allow any situation to weigh you down

always lift up your eyes to the solutions

Never tell yourself you are defeated, you CANNOT be defeated

 

Some things we always receive in the place of prayer

1.      ideas: God doesn’t run out of ideas so should you. When it looks like there is no idea, pray. He is the god of ideas and you are His child. it is our responsibility to do things in this world.

2.      strategies: God will show you the steps to take. Talk to Him. It is not only when you go on your knees in the evening that He hears you. He is with you always. We live by faith.

 

 I will never be short of ideas. Follow what God asked you to do in your heart. He is the God of ideas.

 

3.      visions: God expects you to see visions

Allow the God of grace to direct you in the direction that He wants you to go. Everything about me flourishes. We bring out things from the Spirit realm. Don’t wait until you get to heaven before you enjoy life. The truth is that heaven is already here with you

 

4.      boldness: the willingness to take risks and act with innovations.
