Service title: Reigning above sin and death in Christ 

Pastor Earnest Teaching 

Romans 5:1-22

Romans 6:1-16

Let your spirit grasp all that God says in this chapter 

We have been justified by faith

God looks at us and says because of the finished works of Christ we are not adjudged guilty 

Your faith in the finished works of Christ brings you in a place where God says you are not guilty 

And the beautiful thing about this justification is that 

God says you are justified so why harbour the feeling of guilt anymore 

It doesn't matter the accusations that Satan brings before God concerning you, God says you are justified 

Say "I am justifed "

We have a hope that doesn't make ashamed

God loves us so much that He will not allow us to live hopelessly 

My hope will not disappoint because it is backed up by the love of God 

When we were not good enough, Christ died for us

No matter how bad you may have been, the love of God is bigger

We are living in perpetual Salvation 

Death reigned from Adam to Moses 

Why to Moses?

Because the revelation of the word of God was given to Moses 

Adam was a type of the Lord Jesus Christ who was to come 

God is saying as death reigned, much more we reign through the Lord Jesus Christ 

No matter how big the sin is, much more grace is abounded(released because there is more than  enough grace)

Death came as the ultimate result of sin

Much more grace has opened the gates of life

So, in Christ we have eternal life through the grace of Jesus Christ 

So, sin and death has no power over me anymore 

It doesn't matter the kind of sin that you may have committed, God still accepts you

Do you like the fact that no matter what you do, there us enough grace to make you uncondemable before God?

Yes!

You are children of God so live according to God's mannerism 

I'm no longer a slave to sin,  sin has no power over me

In the eyes of God,everyone is justified  but not everyone is living the justified life

Death has no power and dominion over me because sin has no power over me

Death is the wages or payment of sin and so if sin has no dominion over you, death has no power over you

You never walked under sin so death cannot be payed to you

I'm alive to God 

Carry this consciousness with you daily that you are alive to God 

You have been born sin free in Christ Jesus. 

Sin shall not have dominion over me because I am under grace

Not grace to commit sin, but grace to live above sin

Where sin reigns, all kinds of poverty and disease will also reign

Whoever you yield yourself to, you become a slave to that thing 

I yield myself to God 

Every part of my body is an instrument to God

I live above only

I rule over sin and death
