Pastor Earnest Teaching:

Jonah 4:1-

A Soul Winner must have:

1.      clarity of the message.

2.      conviction: you must be persuaded about the gospel.

3        Full personal possession of the message has accomplished.

From the life of Jonah we can say:

1.      he is a soul winner- he preached in one day and the whole nation if Nineveh was delivered.

 

1.Did he have a clear understanding of the gospel that was given to him?

Yes. he knew that the message works.

2. Did he have a conviction of the message?

Yes. that is why he wasn’t willing to go preach because he knew when he preached, the message had the power to give the people salvation.

3.Did he have full possession of the gospel?

No. He didn’t have the character of God.

 

It Is not enough to have conviction and clarity if the message, you must have a full possession of what Christ came to do for us.

 

Luke 1:1-3

Until the Holy Spirit is with you, you will never understand the gospel.

As a child of God, you must study to know.

Be diligent in studying God’s word.

 

Acts 17:10-

John 14:26

The Holy Spirit teaches us all things and leads us into the truth.

In these times we are in your only help I sin the scriptures and the Holy Spirit.

God wants us to remain standing.

Not moved by anything.

 

Romans 1:16

Whoever receives the gospel receives the righteousness of God.

When you receive it you have received the nature of God, the very Life of God.

 

There is a life that we have, it is called the God-life.

What a man needs is the gospel.

 

The word of God is our deliverance, it is our riddance.

If you are so convinced about the gospel, it will be the number one remedy that you will recommend to anyone.

If you raw ashamed of the gospel then you are not yet fully persuaded.

2 Timothy 1:11-7

Thank you, Lord Jesus.

When you go preaching, you can preach to everyone because this gospel has come for everyone.

 

When a man is religious he doesn’t really hear from God because he believes what he does is the “right thing”.

 

Thank god for the Holy Spirit.

As a child of God, you must know the Person of the Holy Spirit.

There is a lot of work that God wants us to do in this world.

And you are a part of god’s workforce.

The greatest persecution that the Church receives is coming from ‘fellow Christians’. This is because they don’t have a clear understanding of the word of God.

When you have the conviction of the word of God, it will make you do what He wants you to do. Righteousness must become a present hour possession.

 

Refuse to be afraid because you are a righteous man.1 John 1:7

Light is truth, reality.

I walk in the light.

I walk in the truth, the truth of God’s word.

Walk in the light of what God has said concerning you.

Sicknesses have no place in my life.

I walk in the light of God sword concerning my health, finances and my relationships.

I am the righteousness of God in Christ.

 

John 6:47

Believing makes you a possessor.

Walk in the light of your having it.

 

There are people who have been admitted into the school of christ but they are not yet there.

So, it is our responsibility to let them know that Christ is the best place to be.

When you come into Christ, Christ will make you know.
