Service Title: Walking in the Truth

Pastor Earnest Omoleme teaching:

We thank God for the revelation of His word and for the focus and life that He has given to us.

John 8:32

If your Bible reads and the truth shall set you free, that is the wrong translation.

It is supposed to read the truth shall make you free.

To set you free implies that you are still in bondage.

But in this verse, God is talking to us, His children.

We are not in bondage.

Truth liberates.

Truth encourages.

Truth enlightens.

Truth will guide, guard, protect and shield you.

And God wants us to be shielded, protected and guided.

John 14:15-17

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of Truth.

Jesus is the Truth.

Until you come to Christ, you don’t really know what truth is.

The world doesn’t know the truth because they don’t know Jesus but we know Him because we know truth.

Jesus is the revelation of the Spirit.

Now Jesus is in us, so the Spirit of truth is in us.

He guides us into all truth.

The truth is the word of God.

So, whatever the Spirit of God says that is what I am.

When we pray God hears us.

He won’t ask to pray for a thing if He didn’t want to answer.

It is not the will of God for men to be led by the spirit of deception.

We live by the Spirit of God.

There is a truth, a reality.

As a Child of God, you understand that the word of God is given to you to walk in light.

We are not in darkness.

We shouldn’t allow the world to tell us that we in the darkness.

We are the children of light.

1 Kings 17:1-16

The Spirit of God wants to lead you and guide you.

But He wants you to follow His leading not your senses.

We don’t live by common sense as children of God.

If we were to live by common sense, then there will not have been a need for Jesus’ Coming.

Man is an intelligent being.

But we live by faith.

Faith is not common sense.

Faith is living by the instructions that God has given.

You understand that faith to the senses of a man is foolishness.

But faith itself is a manifestation of the Wisdom of God.

The world cannot receive the Holy Spirit, but the Holy Spirit is guiding us so we are the ones to bring the wisdom of God to the senses of men.

Act according to the word of the Lord,

That is what faith is.

Living by God’s instructions.

Doing according to the word of the Lord.

God can help you anyhow.

The earth is His and the fulness thereof.

He has given us all things that pertains to life and godliness.

God directs us and gives us the word to say and when you say that word, all things will obey you.

But you must learn to follow instructions.

God wants circumstances to feed you.

We are kings.

When you start asking ”how”, it means doubt is stepping in.

Let God be concerned about the “how”.

Remember that Elijah did not pray to be fed.

 

Prayer shouldn’t just be about our needs.

Matthew 6:31-33

The word of God is true.

 

The word of God in your mouth is God talking.

When you see situations and the spirit of God puts the word in your mouth, don’t consider situations.

You are the prophet of your life.

Anyone or anything that you obey, you make yourself a slave to that thing.

We are not denying the fact that there is a virus, we are condemning the fact the ability to dictate the circumstances of our lives.

Faith is denying the fact the ability to dictate the circumstances of your life.

God doesn’t change.

His words are eternal verities.

You can be condemned by your words or actions.

But there is no condemnation to us who are in Christ Jesus.

I am justified by the words of my mouth.

We are custodians of life.

We are light carriers.

God does not kill.

God does not take away.

He anointed Jesus who went about healing all that were oppressed of the devil.

Every man on the face of the earth has free access to the saving power of Jesus Christ just everyone has access to salvation.

You are the healer.

When someone is sick, you don’t have to get them born again before they can be healed.

You can heal them before they get born again because you are the healing distributor.

The word of God is in my mouth and that word is the word of truth.

The word of truth is in your mouth.

As a man or woman of God, understand that God has put His word in your mouth and that word is the word of truth.

Your life is made.

I don’t know your plans for this year, but so long as it is God talking to you, it is possible.

 

When you are questioning the ability of God, you are actually demonstrating doubt.

The expectation of the righteous shall not be cut.

We are in challenging times, but God says fear not.

So, tell yourself ‘I refuse to fear’.

God says fear not!

Everyone of us has a testimony to give.

It is our month of truth.

Let truth be in your consciousness.

All things have been programmed to listen to you so just tell it how you want it to go.

God works with people at the level of their understanding.

So, there is nothing that you cannot do in life.

You can hold on to God’s life.
