Service title: The Mission and Purpose of the Church

We didn’t get the Bible to put it under our beds.

We got to put it in our hearts.

No matter what you do or think or no matter how much you hate Jesus, you can never beat Him because He said He will build His Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

 

·         The physical comes first before the natural

1 Corinthians 15:30-49

God created the spiritual before the natural.

In creation, the spirit comes first.

Corruption(death) comes before incorruption(resurrection).

Until the death of the First Adam, the Second Adam was not manifested.

In death, the natural comes first before the glory.

John 14:1-3

John chapter 14 is a continuation of a discussion in chapter 13.

The Kingdom is prepared from the foundation of the world.

1 Peter 1:11-12

What Jesus meant in John 14:1-4 was that:

He was going to prepare a place in God.

A place that had not been known.

It’s a place called Christ.

Why is this important?

Jesus has succeeded in establishing His Kingdom in the earth and has succeeded in getting the biggest and the highest Name in Heaven, earth and anywhere else.

Jesus Christ never existed in bodily form before He was born in the earth by the virgin Mary.

He was always the Word of God.

He was always in the bosom of the Father.

 

Jesus Sits at the Right Hand (on the Throne of God), not the right hand side and the Father tabernacles Him. This means Jesus is the Body of the Father.

Colossians 1:19

Jesus Said He is going to prepare a place for us, this is our Joint-sitting with Him. It’s a place of a new sitting which neither man nor angels knew anything about.

If you are born again, you have been born into Christ.

You have come to a place called Christ.

Colossians 1:13

Ephesians 5:5

Revelation 1:9

Colossians 2:6

Christ is a place.

If you are born again, you are in Christ, you are born into Christ.

So, you live in Christ.

You are in Christ.

The Kingdom is taken from Israel and given to a people who will produce the Fruits of the Kingdom. This (a people) is referring to the Church- the regeneration (those who are born again).

 

When you are born again you are born into the Kingdom of God’s dear Son.

This Kingdom of God’s dear Son is to bear the fruits of the Kingdom of God.

The Mission and Purpose of the Church is to produce the Fruits of the Kingdom of God.

What then are the fruits of the Kingdom?

[we will discuss this tomorrow- Day 5].

I have been called to set forth and display the virtues and perfections of the One who called me out of darkness into His marvellous light.

When you understand your mission and purpose in life, you step out in boldness.

In the realm of the spirit, you are seen in glory.

You have put on Christ.

You have to understand that you have been glorified.

The reason you cry and suffer like everyone else is because you have set your mind on the wrong things.

If you set your mind on the fact that you have been glorified, that glory will rise from within you and cause through your being.

Now that you are born again, you actually live in the Presence of Almighty God.

You carry the presence of the Holy Ghost in every step you take.

You have been immersed, baptised into that cloud (the presence of the Holy Ghost).

You really start living when you receive Jesus into your heart.
