Topic: Persistence

PROCLAMATIONS:

I affirm that the Lord is the Light of my life.

My whole being is full of light, therefore I navigate my way excellently through life in victory, dominion and success.

I am filled with the knowledge of God’s will, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding.

I am filled with all of God’s knowledge

I have the knowledge of God

I have the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and Spiritual understanding because the Holy Spirit lives in me.

He grants me the understanding of the knowledge of the will of God.

I am rightly positioned in the centre of God’s perfect will being yielded to the control, sway, influence and guidance of the Holy Spirit everyday of my life.

I am a special kind of being.

I have an excellent Spirit that is full of the eternal deposits of God’s goodness, graces, perfections and beauty

my understanding is enlightened to have precise knowledge of the great riches of the Father’s glorious inheritance in me.

In this service, we are looking at persistence.

God’s word is loaded with principles

 

God’s Will concerning us is that we have persistent growth

He wants us to be growing all the time

He has given us His word, Spirit and power to help us.

He doesn’t want us to be redundant at anytime in our lives

God doesn’t want ups and downs but forward and upward only.

it is our responsibility to work the word and get the results it talks about

 

what is persistence?

Perseverance or tenacity, determination, resolve or resoluteness or staying power, a purposefulness, firmness of purpose, patience or endurance or diligence, assiduity, doggedness, tenaciousness.

 

when you make your mind to follow what God’s word says or even what you have determined to do, the power of God will help you do it.

God is with you and will also help you carry through it.

Proverbs 25:15(NKJV, MSG)

persistence keeps you on the path of success.

we are not a people that quits

God expects us to be go getters

to win, you must learn not to quit

train yourself not to quit

sometimes people quit at the middle of their success

winners do not quit and God has made us winners.

be determined for success all the time

train yourself not to lose

practice how to succeed

practice not losing

Because that is the life that God has given to us.

 

God wants you to take it all through

Once you start, finish it up because God is at work in us in all things

tell yourself that the only thing that you are getting back is the results

take it all through it doesn’t matter what comes against you.

learn to press on

teach and train yourself to press on

train yourself to refuse negative answers

don’t accept negative answers so easily

question is, do you want it?

if you do, go for it.

 

everyone has a high authority

God’s answers to us are always yes and amen

 

·         With persistence, it is never too late to get the results.

Luke 11:5-8

It’s never too late to accept what God say about you.

stand your grounds in Christ.

In the realm of God, there is no timing.

God is never too late.

 

the Blood that Jesus shed did not take effect 2000 years ago, it took effect from the beginning of Creation.

So, when He died that blood went into the years before and corrected all things.

Your prayer today, can go back into 2020 and start having effect.

it is never too late for us

we are God’s people.

Every time is our time and anytime is our time.

All that He expects us to do is to hold on

Don’t give up on God’s word.

Don’t give up on the word that He has spoken concerning you.

Don’t give up on the targets that you have set for yourself.

He is the One at work in you both to will and to do of His Good Pleasure.

All things are possible!

 

Like 11:5-8(MSG)

·         stand your grounds

·         what do you want

·         Don’t give up on it.

“get what I want

I am a Child of God.

Everything is mine.

Praise God!”

 

2 Kings 13:14-19

Elisha held the king’s hand to transfer to him some power.

Don’t lose faith the first time. keep at it.

I do not give up

I am a child of God

I have His life

I have His nature

As He is, so am I

When I set my heart on anything, I accomplish it.

Go for your goals this year.

let nothing stop you.

Let yourself, your mind know that the only thing you can get is the accomplishment of your goal.

set your heart, stand your ground.

Ask yourself, ‘why do I stop so quickly?’

Look at the goal, look at the target.

This is not the time to give up

As much zealous you are about your dream, the devil is also determined to make it fail.

This is not the year to give.

Thank God we have the Holy Spirit

God is telling us not to give up this year.

Refuse to quit.                               

Refuse to give up.

The answer is there.

Be persistent.

God will communicate the right words to you because of your persistence.

this is not the time of giving up.

the word does not fail so I can’t fail with it.

Don’t abandon your projects.      

This year do no give up.

that thing that you’ve set in your heart to accomplish is possible.

He is our God and the power that is at work in the inside of us.

declare that you are not weak

you are not a weakling, you are strong with the strength of God.

For God is your strength and enablement.
